Something I didn't know about myself

A few things happened to me a few weeks ago, in which I never would have anticipated my own reaction. The first, it was almost a month ago, me & a few of my friends were hanging out at one the guys place. Some of the guys were sitting online, a few were reading, and two were playing wii, i was watching the guys playing wii with a bit of interest as one of them declared two hole-in-ones in golf, it turned out to be just a declaration and just talk as he didn't even know how to stroke the club, I wanted to assist him so I stood up and showed him how its done.
For some reason he got really pissed when I did that, and started complaining, he said he didn't wanna play anymore and sat down, so I took over the wii, and started playing. He then started to bother me when I was playing, and he told me he wanted to play, so I told him "Tough luck, you gave up your joystick, I'm not gonna do the same". This reeeally pissed him off, he started swearing and insulting me, the guys tried to calm him down, he just continued to swear, I didn't care at all & continued to play. Thats the first situation.
The second was at the airport. Me and my grandmother were going to Dubai, so I went to the check in counter, and the lady at the counter told me that there aren't any seats next to each other for us, so I asked her what can she do for us, she said there was nothing in her hands, but that i could go and try to change the seats at the customer service counter.
I went over to customer services. At the counter there were a few people, I stood behind them, and then I noticed that no one was standing in line, and that they were all at the counter, so I wet and stood next to a Japanese guy at the far end. Once I got next to him, he hit me with his elbow for no reason at all, I thought that his hands must've slipped from the counter and that it was a mistake so I didn't do anything about it, then he turns to me, and gives me this weird look and starts to taunt me, I was really shocked as I never expected it to be intentional, and even so to taunt me when I had done nothing at all, was a complete shock.
He the left the customer services counter, and went to check in, the customer service employee asked me if I wanna file a complaint against him, as he came to Bahrain without a visa, and he could get into a lot of trouble. I really wanted to file the complaint, but I restrained myself and felt that it was better not to.

Dotting Down An Old Experience

This is one of my first experiences in Egypt. It was my first semester of college, I was in Egypt for almost two months now, I'd gotten really tired of running after my acceptance, the university wasn't allowing my admission over a mistake that I had nothing to do with. Their excuse was that they lost the papers of the HCUE (High Council of Universities of Egypt) which states the acknowledgment of my school. So, for the last two months I'd been going from office to office, building to building, administration to administration trying to get new papers of acknowledgement. What was even worse for me was that these last two months I still hadn't found myself an apartment to stay in, so for the meantime I was staying at my friends apartment.
At last I'd got the papers that the university had been asking for, I finished my registration and I was admitted to the College of Medicine.
I spent the next few days looking for an apartment, and attending classes; which takes a lot out of a guy. So, on a weekend I'd get up early and go apartment hunting. On this specific weekend, I left the apartment at approximately 10 am, I was on the 5th floor, tapped the elevator button and waited. When it arrived I got on and pushed G, the elevator stopped on the 4th, and this really beautiful well dressed girl was waiting. She came on, about five seconds later we had a blackout, the girl totally freaked out and started screaming, she even jumped on and clung to me. Here, I started to freak out didn't know what to do really. I panicked for a very short while, and then I regained my cool, pulled her arms off of me, told her to hold on to her corner while I hold on to mine, said its only gonna be a few minutes till the doorman or janitor or whatever you want to call him shows up and opens the doors for us to leave ( we were stuck where the bottom half of a door was still showing, whether it was the same floor or the one after I can't really remember). Unfortunately, for both of us, the doorman didn't show up for another 45 mins. We both sat very quietly waiting for, well frankly, anything to happen, every few minutes or so she'd pop up with a question trying to start small talk, I don't remember how I replied to her, but she'd usually shut up eventually. When the doorman arrived he opened the door for us, I offered for her to leave first but she was too afraid that the electricity would come back while she was climbing through the door, and that it would come down on her, so I went out first, she came out after a while, took a bit of convincing from me and the doorman ( his name was Hasan ), once she was out she thanked me and I left.

My First Post

This is my first post on this blog, hopefully the first of many. Like it says on the description, I started this blog when my brother advised me to note down my memories of Egypt. Right now I really don't know what I'm doing exactly, but I wish that after noting down my thoughts on paper for a few times, things might get better. Right now I'm at Abs' house, beginning this new chapter of my life, optimistically; writing on a daily basis. Wish me luck.
